Faux Painting Instructions

Today I got a call from a distressed customer. She said she bought all my videos and then described the situation she had created on her walls. After a few questions I realized she didn’t take my advice. This certainly was not the first time and it’s interesting to think about why someone would choose do it a way differently than I suggest, especially if they don’t have much experience. I wondered what made them think that a certain step or bit of information wasn’t important? I even went through this with my sister and she could have easily called me at any time and asked me my opinion before she proceeded with her approach.

I helped my customer her by giving her a few more steps to fix her situation. She had a great attitude and was willing to do the extra steps so she could have a beautiful finish. I love faux painting because you know there is always a solution and sometimes you end up with a better product from moving through and working with your mistakes.
