Painting under an umbrella

It was a bright sunny day today and I was back on my outdoor mural job. I think I mentioned how I prefer controlled environments when I’m painting and that working outdoors can get old real quick.
Well it got to the point today that my eyes were so irritated from the glaring sun that wanted to pack up my stuff early and go home. I thought about wearing my sunglasses but then I wouldn’t be able to wear my reading glasses. Luckily the homeowner had a beach umbrella that I propped up on the fence and it worked beautifully.
